Klopp to offer new deal to $79,000-a-week star at Liverpool

Liverpool currently have one of the best attacks in the premier league no doubt, but their defensive issues are yet to be solved – which is one of the main reasons they are presently sitting at the 9th spot of the premier league table.

There is hardly a game Liverpool have played this season so far that they didn’t concede at least a goal. And even during their last premier league game against Tottenham Hotspur last weekend at the Wembley Stadium, Mauricio Pochettino’s side took advantage of their poor defense.

During the game against Spurs, Liverpool players like Lovren and Mignolet fared badly, and we won’t be surprised if Klopp decides not to feature them when Liverpool will clash with Huddersfield this Saturday.

And if reports in the media are anything to go by, then it appears Jurgen is ready to give one of his goalkeepers – in the person of Loris Karius – another chance at Anfield.

The German international was dropped from the starting team following his unpleasant performances last season, and it was made known that he earns $79,000 each week at the Merseyside club.

However, the Mirror made it known that his German manager is thinking about giving him a long term run in the club.

Karius has featured in 3 Champions League games for Liverpool this term, and he managed to keep a clean sheet during his side’s 7-0 win over Maribor.
