The opening match and the first leg of the English Premier League took place between Manchester United and Leicester City.

Manchester United won the Foxes in the game that ended in a 2 – 1 , which was played at Old Trafford.

Leicester City coach, Puel Claude in a statement after the match disclosed his side gave in their best which was true as the Foxes dominated the match.

Manchester United had their first goal from Captain Paul Pogba and the second goal from their defender, Luke Shaw. This goal happens to be Luke first ever goal.

However, despite the winning, Jose Mourinho is not satisfied as he disclosed the Red Devils played against a better team which had invested greatly in the summer transfer window.

It seems the Portugal international is still pained that most of his transfer didn’t work out owing to the carefree manner of the Red Devils board.

Mourinho had wanted to bring in a new defender and was linked with a move to bring in some but none of the deal broker out.

However, Mourinho took time to applaud Paul Pogba as the duo are set to work hand in hand in the new season having shared a tensed past.
