Its official! Mourinho in agreement with Ed Woodward

This is probably going to be the first time manager Jose Mourinho would be in agreement with the club’s executive vice chairman Ed Woodward over transfer issues for a long time.

It is no longer news that it was a battle between the duo over who to bring in the Old Trafford in the last summer with the manager insisting on certain names as his wishes for defenders but the United chief refused to see any need for that.

This led to a rift between both club officials after the end of the summer transfer window.

However, it is now reported that the Portuguese boss now has an agreement with the executive vice-chairman to go all out for the additions of new central defenders as he would be backed with funds.

The former Chelsea boss has since hinted that the reason behind the poor outing of his side is because of the lack of quality in his defence.

Howbeit, the Red Devils have been linked with a number of names as possible additions in the winter but with the window expected to open anytime soon, the available players would definitely be captured.

Meanwhile United are sixth place in the Premier League table.
