Uruguayan youngster Sebastian Caceres has forced Arsenal and Spanish giants Barcelona into battle for his signature as both clubs indicate interest in the lad.
The prospect in Caceres was seen by most European clubs especially in the Premier League before breaking into first-team football for Liverpool FC in Montevideo.
Both the Premier League and LA Liga teams have sighted the player to be a long term investment who could also break into the first team if he gives a deserving performance.
But it is unlikely he will give his nod to the Spanish club despite their strong interest in him as he spoke of knowing the North London club and also the dream of playing in the Premier League.
Caceres admits being flattered about the many interests from top European club, hinting on his choice for Arsenal after saying he does not know much about the new manager but admitting to have been following the team.
He added that Playing in the Premier League will be a dream come true for him, noting that his ambition is to play in European tournaments and also representing Uruguay at the World Cup anytime soon.
Caceres is currently Uruguay’s U20 national team captain and is expected to break into the senior national team anytime soon.
