How Kepa Situation Was A Catalyst For Positive Results Revealed

Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri believes that the Kepa situation was a positive situation for the Blues who have seen an upturn in form in the aftermath of the incident during the Carabao Cup final.

Spanish international shot stopper Kepa Arrizabalaga shocked the footballing world after he refused to come off towards the end of extra time during the Carabao Cup final clash with Manchester City while substitute goalkeeper Willy Caballero was on the sidelines.

Kepa went on to complete the game as the Blues we beaten 4-3 on penalties by Manchester City who managed to retain the trophy they won last season via a 3-0 win over Arsenal.

The Spaniard was restored into the Chelsea starting XI for the 2-1 victory away from home against West London rivals Fulham.

In his pre-match thoughts ahead of the Wolves game in the league on Sunday, Sarri narrated how positive the Kepa situation was for his team.
