Arsenal could part ways with their head of recruitment, Sven Mislintant, this month as he’s being tracked by Bundesliga Champions Bayern Munich.

The former Borussia Dortmund chief scout joined the Gunners only two years ago but he’s set to leave Emirates stadium before the end of the January window.

According to Sky Sports, the 46-year-old joined the North London club in 2017 when he replaced Steve Rowley and he’s been doing great since he stepped into office.

Sven has brought many world-class players to the team including Lacazette and Torreira.

He explored his relationship with his former employers in his negotiations with the Bundesliga giants for Aubameyang whom he successfully lured to Arsene Wenger’s team during last year’s winter market.

His ties with Mkhitaryan also played a major role in the player’s unexpected move to Arsenal from Manchester United, though, the Armenian was used as a makeshift for Sanchez who moved to the opposite side.

His departure will be a great loss to the Gunners due to the feat/success he’s achieved with the team in just two seasons.

The British publication said that the Gunners chairman Snahelli is presently in search for an experienced candidate to take over from Mislintant on full-time basis.

However, Unai Emery is reportedly set to take over from the departing chief scout for the time being and the Spaniard would ensure he captured Ever Banega’s signature from Sevilla.

The Argentine midfielder remains Emery’s most wanted player this month and the manager hopes to reunite with the Sevilla man as soon as he steps into Mislintant’s position.
