Not Van Dijk – Liverpool Can Now Sign This Defender With £26.8Million

Liverpool still need to sign at least one defender before the end of this summer transfer window, and it appears they will be looking elsewhere for defensive reinforcements following the complications associated with their move for Southampton defender Virgil Van Dijk.

According to Calcio Mercato, the Anfield club have been given the “green light” to get the signature of OGC Nice defender Henrique Dalbert.

The Brazilian star has emerged as a target for both Inter Milan and Liverpool this summer, and it is said that Nice will only allow him leave if his €30million buy-out clause is met by the interested clubs.

Serie A heavyweights Inter Milan are understood to be favorites to get the left-back’s signature with reports that the Italian club have even reached a verbal agreement with him.

However, the Milan club are reportedly not willing to meet the €30million the Ligue I club are demanding for the samba player.

Jurgen Klopp recently sealed a £10 Million deal for left-back Andrew Robertson from Hull City, and Alberto Moreno has been strongly linked with a move away from Anfield.

Henrique Dalbert is an exciting player that as te ability to tackle opponents, dribble past opponents, and cross the ball for his teammates to score.

Since Inter Milan appears to be out of the race, Liverpool can get his signing done.
