Chelsea Target Favours Liverpool Move
Borussia Dortmund forward Christian Pulisic has been repeatedly linked with a transfer to the Premier League ahead of the upcoming transfer window expected to start as from January 1.
Pulisic is said to be attracting interests from the Premier League duo of Chelsea and Liverpool.
Several media reports claim that Blues have initiated transfer talks in the bid to sign the 20-year-old American international star.
A report from popular English media platform Talksport claim that the player favours a move to Liverpool over Chelsea despite the fact that the 2012 Champions League winners have made the first move to sign him.
Pulisic has 18 months left on his current Borussia Dortmund contract and the club would only entertain a bid of around £70m for him.
The American forward is widely seen in the footballing world as one of the most exciting prospects in Europe.
He has not played much football for Borussia Dortmund this season.
This is mainly due to the emergence of English international forward Jadon Sancho and summer signing Johann Brunn Larsen.
Both players have been preferred to Pulisic in the forward positions by the Borussia Dortmund manager Lucien Favre, who has led the team to the top of the German Bundesliga table.
