Gary Neville: This Chelsea Star Is Premier League’s Best Player

Former Valencia boss Gary Neville has claimed Chelsea striker Diego Costa is the best player in the Premier League.

The Spain international is topping goalscorers’ chart in the league with 13 goals in 17 appearances for the Blues so far this season.

Costa has helped Chelsea to several wins this season alone and are seriously contending for the title after their torrid display last season.

Reports in the Daily star have it that the former Manchester United defender was asked on social media on who is the best player in the Premier League and Neville replied: ‘Costa’

Neville had a torrid time in the Spanish La Liga while managing Valencia and left them almost swimming in relegation waters.

Costa has been in red-hot form for the Blues who are currently on a 11-game winning streak but could miss their next game against Bournemouth after receiving his fifth yellow card of the campaign in the last match against Crystal Palace for a cynical foul on Joe Ledley.

Blues boss, Antonio Conte has helped the 28-year-old striker regain form after he warned him about keeping his antics off the pitch in order to get him firing again which appears to be working out well.
