Former Tottenham Player Tips Club To Make Title Assault

Former Tottenham Hotspur striker Roman Pavyluchenko is of the opinion that his former side have a good chance of winning the English Premier League (EPL) title this season to further complement the fact that they missed the title to champions Leicester City last season.

Tottenham are presently seven points adrift of leaders (27 points from the opening 14 games) and North London rivals Arsenal (34 points from the opening 15 games) with the possibility of going ten points adrift if Chelsea (34 points from 14 games) beat West Brom in th early kickoff on Sunday afternoon.

Speaking on his forme team’s chances of winning first EPL title with the club official website, the Russian international said: “I think the play of Tottenham can allow them to fight for the gold medal.”

“The team has a good chance of winning the Premier League, because they have good players and some teams are not showing their best form.” he further added.

Pavyluchenko didn’t really achieve much at White Hart Lane in his four years at the club from 2008 to 2012 having made a £14m pound move from Russian side Spartak Moscow however that has not stopped him from potentially tipping Mauricio Pochettino’s team for great things in the league this season.
