Emery picks his most admired Liverpool player

Arsenal boss Unai Emery has pointed to Liverpool Goalkeeper Alisson Becker as the most important player in the Reds team because of how he has helped to build the Anfield play from behind.

Emery stated that the Liverpool side develop all of their moves with the goalkeeper before getting to the midfielder before getting to the attack.

The Spanish manager said the development of a game begins with the goalkeeper which determines the quality of play and that is what he wants to achieve with his Arsenal team.

However, Emery hinted on making use of Bernd Leno as his first choice goalkeeper ahead of Petr Cech because of his blunders in the process trying to build the game from behind.

This system is obviously new to the Arsenal team as it was only introduced this season by the former PSG boss.

It was difficult to be adopted by the Gunners team at first but the team are gradually learning and improving in it.

However, both teams with similar pressing and possession style will clash on Saturday evening in the Premier League game with the expectation that the unbeaten run enjoyed by either of the teams might come to an end at the Emirates Stadium.
