Premier League giants Manchester United have included Sporting Lisbon midfielder Bruno Fernandes on their transfer shortlist according to reports emanating from the media in the United Kingdom.
The London Evening Standard revealed that the Red Devils have added Portuguese international Fernandes to their transfer shortlist.
Bruno Fernandes has been in sensational form for Sporting Lisbon this term and it is no surprise that Manchester United have been drawn to his quality.
The 24-year-old has previously been linked with other Premier League sides like Chelsea, Everton and Liverpool.
Bruno Fernandes has scored 24 goals and also provided 14 assists for his Portuguese top flight side in all competitions.
The Liverpool midfield has been roundly criticised this season in the Reds’ quest to win the Premier League title due to the lack of attacking know-how and that’s one area that Bruno Fernandes can improve next season if the Reds are able to secure his transfer from Sporting Lisbon.
The aforementioned publication revealed that Manchester United have a summer transfer shortlist that includes Jadon Sancho (Borussia Dortmund) and Kalidou Koulibaly (Napoli).
Bruno Fernandes has been added to that shortlist as the Red Devils prepare for what could be a busy summer transfer window with the club keen on strengthening the playing squad.
