Chelsea have announced the arrival of Kepa Arrizabalaga from Athletic Bilbao and Thibaut Courtois will head to Real Madrid, according to reports.
The Blues have been in the market for another goalkeeper following reports that their current number one Thibaut Courtois could be on his way to Real Madrid anytime soon.
The Belgian keeper has decided to stay away from Chelsea’s training in a bid to force a move away from the club, leaving the club with no choice than softening their stance on allowing his exit this summer.
Chelsea, who have been recently linked with a move for Brazilian shot-stopper Alisson, have now netted a deal to sign Kepa.
Reports in Marca claims that Bahia Internacional, representing Kepa have lodged an official bid at the La Liga offices in Madrid, clearing a path for the goalkeeper to make a move to Stamford Bridge.
Real Madrid also got the green light from Chelsea before moving on with the transfer deal with Courtois, with reports that keeper had already agreed to personal terms with Real during his summer break.
In related news, Kurt Zouma is set to complete a loan move from Chelsea to Everton, the young defender who spent last season on loan to Stoke City is set for another move after been deemed surplus to requirement at the Bridge.
