Does Unai Emery deserve more transfer budget

Following the disappointing defeat suffered by the North London outfit Arsenal against their London rivals Chelsea, a major argument has been raised on if manager Unai Emery deserves more transfer funds or not.

It would be recalled that the earlier report claims that the Spanish boss will be given 40 million euros to compete in the summer transfer market but after missing out of the Champions League and losing their only chance which is the defeat in the Europa League final it is yet to be decided if the said amount will be raised or not.

Some have argued that this is the best time for more money to be spent in the summer transfer window because there is a need to rebuild the team if Arsenal must compete for titles in the coming season.

There are also claims that the Spanish manager will need no more funds as he will only be playing in the Europa League against the club’s wish to play in the Champions League.

However, there have been a very loud silence from the Arsenal management on the decision to be taken for the coming summer transfer window.

Meanwhile, the former PSG boss will only hope to have the support and backing of the club for a rebuilding of the team.
