Chelsea Italian manager Antonio Conte has admitted that his only problem at the Stamford Bridge is the fact that his family is still in Italy.

The former Juventus coach joined Chelsea last year’s summer following his time in charge of Italy’s national side, but his family are yet to join him in London.

Conte has earned plenty of praise for the superb impact he has had at the club despite been his first season at Stamford Bridge.

The Italian manager led the blues to the top of the Premier League table and they are currently 10 points clear of second placed Tottenham Hotspur heading into this weekend’s round of games.

Chelsea are now firm favourites to win the title crown this season, and the management are likely to want to secure Conte’s future for the coming seasons.

This week, rumours were said that he has been linked with a return to Italy, and Inter Milan were said to be keen on his services.

However, despite Conte admitting that he is missing his family, he insists that his long-term future is at the Stamford Bridge club.

“The only problem for me this season is the family is missing me for sure, my family stays in Italy.

“I am working for the future to try to bring them here and for us to stay together. The family is missing me, this is true.” he said.

The manager also revealed that he wants to stay at Stamford Bridge for many years and build something he tagged “important” at the club.

“Yes, I hope [I can manage here for years]. Usually, when you start a project with a new team you want to stay many years and to build something important with the club.”

The west London side are currently gearing up for their Premier League game against West Ham United on Monday at the London Stadium.
