Deal Almost Agreed! Chelsea striker reaches agreement to leave Stamford Bridge this summer

According to media reports emanating from Italy, Chelsea forward Alvaro Morata has agreed a move to Serie A champions Juventus from Chelsea this summer transfer window.

Morata leaving Chelsea this summer

Italian publication Rai Sport, as cited by Metro, is claiming that the 25-year-old forward has agreed to leave Chelsea after only one season at Stamford Bridge.

It’s been somewhat of a mixed debut season for the forward at the West London club after his transfer to the club from La Liga giants Real Madrid last summer transfer window.

The Spain international striker started the season strongly but an injury to his back hampered his progress in the second stanza of the League season, and he missed the 1-0 victory over Champions League finalists Liverpool on Sunday afternoon due to a new injury problem.

Latest reports in Italy claim that the former Real Madrid striker could be ready to head back to Italy.

Agreement in place for Spaniard

The same story says that the striker’s agents already have a transfer agreement in place for the forward to return to Turin this summer.

Meanwhile, the Blues are still aiming to make the top four this term.

They defeated Liverpool 1-0 on Sunday afternoon and they will be equal on points with the Merseyside club if they beat Huddersfield in their penultimate match of the campaign on Wednesday evening.
