According to reports, Champions League finalists Liverpool are set to sign young Ukrainian goalkeeper Andriy Lunin.
Liverpool wants youngster safe hand
The Daily Mirror suggests that the Reds wants Andriy Lunin to be their new third choice keeper and they are hoping to complete a deal for the 19-year-old safe hand.
Premier League sides Watford and Leicester are also thought to be closely tracking the Zorya Luhansk player, who was also heavily linked to Arsenal in April.
The youngster has been earning a lot of rave reviews in the Ukrainian league with 10 clean sheets from 34 matches this campaign.
Contract expiring next summer
His deal though is up at the end of next season and he looks prepared to leave after Zorya rejected an offer for him in the winter transfer window from La Liga side Real Sociedad.
According to the player’s representative last month, the club want about €5million for the shot-stopper, who played his first international game in March this year.
Serie A giants Juventus and Inter Milan are also thought to be keen, with the goalkeeper’s representatives, Irakly Hvedeliani, informing Football-Ua a month ago that the first real interest for the youngster came at the end of 2017 season when Salzburg FC scouts came to watch him play.
