Sevilla won’t give up on United defender

Eric Bailly

Reports from the British press claims that Spanish La Liga outfit Sevilla will not give up on the signing of English Premier League outfit Manchester United central defender Eric Bailly.

Bailly has struggled to make an impact on the Red Devils team this season especially under former manager Jose Mourinho as he was only relegated to the bench.

This sparked up speculations that he would be leaving the club in this January winter window which has interest from a number of clubs who are hoping to snap up his signature.

Sevilla eventually emerged as favourites and they are yet to give up in their pursuit of Eric Bailly who has had just 11 appearances under his belt at the Old Trafford.

With the Red Devils keen on securing the signature of central defenders, the future of Eric Bailly at the club looks slim as it only hints that he is not in the plans of the club.

However, the Spanish La Liga is well known to Eric Bailly having had a spell at Villarreal with reports claiming that he will be happy to return back in this January window.

It is, therefore, not sure if United will have a change of mind on the star player or will have him leave to Sevilla.
