Confirmed: Liverpool Have Taken Steps To Sign Star Player

Bekitas star player Domagoj Vida has been heavily linked with a move away from the club in recent times after emerging as a target for Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool.

The talented Croatian has been in the news consistently due to his links with the Anfield club, and right now, his agent made it known that Liverpool actually submitted a bid for the player.

Speaking to newsmen recently, Vida’s agent confirmed that apart from Liverpool, other sides like Everton, Atletico Madrid and Sevilla are also interested in his client’s signature.

The premier league is just some few days to go, and various sides are working hard before the closure of the ongoing summer transfer window.

This summer so far, manager Jurgen Klopp has splashed close to £200M to sign the likes of Naby Keita (from RB Leipzig), Fabinho (from Monaco), Alisson Becker (from AS Roma) and Xherdan Shaqiri (from Stoke City).

However, he is yet to sign a central defender. And with Joel Matip getting himself injured during their preseason friendly against Borussia Dortmund on Sunday, the German might have no choice but to splash the cash on one.

And news from Turkey made it known that the Merseysiders have submitted a €22M bid for Vida.

His agent Ugur Avadan also confirmed it that the reds are actually interested in his client and are trying to bring him down to England this summer.
