The fans were excited by Andreas Pereira’s impressive performance when Jose Mourinho’s side recently clashed with AC Milan in their most recent preseason game.
None of the two sides could emerge victorious within the first 90 minutes of the clash and had to settle the tie on penalties.
And after a long penalty shootout, the red devils eventually emerged winners (9-8) – with Andreas himself scoring twice.
Pereira took adequate care of the midfield professionally, and he was able to get the fans excited with his superb passes.
The player is gradually forcing his way into Jose Mourinho’s first-team plans for the upcoming premier league campaign, and this is exactly what every young player chase after.
His performance was noted by Manchester United fans, as they stormed Twitter to sing his praises.
Even if the talented youngster won’t be assured of a certain spot in Mourinho’s starting XI when the campaign starts, he has proved he is qualified to add a lot of quality to the side.
No one is currently sure if Mourinho will send him out on loan this summer or not. But what is certain is that the Belgian is trying to establish himself in a club’s first team. If he can’t get that at Old Trafford, he might push for a move to another place.
