Adrien Rabiot

Paris Saint Germain (PSG) manager Thomas Tuchel has shunned midfielder Adrien Rabiot amidst the intense transfer links about an exit from the club.

The Daily Express revealed that Adrien Rabiot has been banned by Thomas Tuchel from coming near the team on matchdays until the uncertainty surrounding him has been resolved.

Tuchel has been told by the club’s sporting director Antero Henrique that Adrien Rabiot should not feature in the PSG Matchday squads until further notice.

Henrique has earlier revealed that the player would be frozen out of the PSG team as the consequence for turning down several contract offers from the French capital club.

Premier League table-toppers Liverpool and several other English top flight heavyweights have been linked with a transfer for the French international star who has six months left on his current PSG deal.

Spanish La Liga champions Barcelona are favourites to sign him though Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are also keen on the ex-Manchester City Academy player.

Paris United claim that the Catalans are finding it difficult to agree to a free transfer move with him and his mother/agent Veronique.

Barcelona are eager to settle the transfer situation with Adrien Rabiot by paying £5m for his permanent transfer in the January transfer window.
