Clash Of War: Man City Trying To Snatch £70M Deal From Mourinho’s Grip!

A new report indicated that Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola is trying to splash lots of money to influence Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann to his side.

According to The Telegraph, though Griezmann will cost between £60m and £70m next summer, City boss is growing a little frustrated with his current attacking options.

Guardiola isn’t pleased about his team’s inability to utilize their chances properly- something depriving them of points. He therefore desire adding a powerful worldclass attacker in his squad, to support Sergio Aguero.

Guardiola is serious about this issue, and is ready to spend huge just to get the signature of a player like Griezmann. But unfortunately, he would be stepping on the toes of United who reportedly desire bringing the French International to Old Trafford.

Since he moved from Real Sociedad to A.Madrid in 2014, Griezmann has been exceptionally doing well on the pitch. And in 21 appearances in all competitions this season, the 25-year-old has scored nine times and has provided six assists.

Should he leave Atletico Madrid next year, he is more likely to come over to Old Trafford so he could reunite with countryman Paul Pogba. Nevertheless, it’s also possible we see him becoming a City player, considering the fact that Pep would offer him a leading role in the team.

Any which way, it is obvious both Manchester teams are going to have yet another clash.
