Kostas Manolas

English Premier League outfit Arsenal have been told that their star target and AS Roma defender Kostas Manolas is now available for sale and for a cut-price fee ahead of the coming summer transfer window.

It is claimed that AS Roma are struggling to secure qualification to the Champions League ahead of the coming season and an agreement has been reached that he would be allowed to leave the club if that fails to happen.

However, Kostas Manolas will have his release clause triggered and would be available for the Gunners and the Red Devils for a fee of about £31 million.

This, therefore, means that the North London outfit and the Man United team will have to battle for the signature of the star defender as it is not looking likely that the Serie A outfit will secure qualification.

Both Arsenal and Man United are desperate in need of defenders and that department will be the focus for the two sides.

The North London outfit have conceded most goals so far this season amongst the top six teams, especially at the start of the season which makes it important for them to land a defender in the coming summer window.
