Chelsea Signing Scores In Chile Draw

New Chelsea signing Christian Pulisic was on target for the United States of America as they played out a 1-1 draw with Chile on Tuesday night.

Both teams met in what was an international friendly with the two teams preparing for major tournaments this summer.

The United States of America are one of the strong contenders for the 2019 Gold Cup this summer, while Chile is the defending champions of the COPA America ahead of the 2019 edition this summer.

Christian Pulisic gave the Americans the lead as early as the fourth minute off an assist from Gyasi Zardes who scored the winning goal last week when the United States of America beat Ecuador 1-0 in an international friendly.

The lead lasted for five minutes as Chile equalised through Oscar Opazo.

American goalscorer Pulisic thereafter picked up a right thigh injury before being replaced LA Galaxy midfielder Sebastian Lletget.

Both sides could not add to their respective goal rally as the game ended 1-1.

Borussia Dortmund would be hoping that Christian Pulisic won’t be ruled out of action for a long period in their quest for German Bundesliga glory this season.

Chelsea have already sealed the transfer of Christian Pulisic but the player won’t join them till this summer.
