All Chelsea transfer news : Higuain’s switch to Stamford Bridge and Hudson-Odoi’s future

We are in the third week of the current January transfer window and many deals have been sealed, however, the Blues are yet to lure any player to Stamford.

The Blues are desperately seeking a move for one forward before the end of the week.

Meanwhile, here is the rundown of all Sunday’s transfer rumours concerning Maurizio Sarri’s side

Chelsea to pay huge weekly wages for Higuain as deal could be sealed on Monday

It’s obvious the Blues lack effective goal-poachers at the moment and they are reportedly set to complete Higuain’s signature on Monday.

It was revealed across all transfer podcasts last week that the Argentine underwent his medicals on Friday and he is set to join the London club on Monday.

Meanwhile, Sky Sports have exclusively revealed that the 2012-13 Europa League winners will pay the Argentine a staggering £270,000 as weekly wages.

This will make the former Real Madrid striker the fifth highest-paid player in the League behind Manchester City’s Kelvin De Bruyne, Manchester United duo Paul Pogba and Alexis Sanchez, and Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez.

Hudson-Odoi rejects a new contract

Chelsea youngster Callum Hudson-Odoi has reportedly rejected the club’s contract offer amid the uncertainties surrounding his future at Stamford Bridge.

England’s youth striker has been in the news for a while due to Bayern’s bid to prise him out of Stamford Bridge.

Despite seeing the Bundesliga Champions reach their asking price, Chelsea have failed to release him. Instead, Maurizio Sarri offered him a five-year contract extension which he immediately turned down.

The winger/playmaker saw just 10 minutes of action in their defeat to Arsenal last night and his future is definitely not in Stamford Bridge.
