Chelsea ready £44million for 24-year-old winger

According to Fichajes.net, Spanish La Liga giants Atletico Madrid could offload wide man Yannick Carrasco for about £44million in the winter transfer window.

The Spanish publication claims that the Blues, along with English Premier League rivals Liverpool and Arsenal, may consider offers for the 24-year-old when the transfer window opens in January.

Carrasco has reportedly fallen out of favour under Argentine tactician Diego Simeone and El Gol claimed a week ago that the manager was considering an offer for Chelsea attacking midfielder Willian to replace both the Belgian and Nico Gaitan.

The Atletico wide man started the campaign in the first team, and was in great shape with a total of three goals and two assists made in his first six La Liga starts of the season.

However, since he got back from a knee problem in November, he has had to settle for a place on the substitute bench.

The Premier League Champions have been linked with the star on several occasions over the past season, but it is a major doubt that the winger would be top of Antonio Conte’s January wishlist.

The Evening Standard claim that another wide man Frenchman Thomas Lemar, and Everton attacking midfielder Ross Barkley are on top of the tactician’s priorities when the transfer window opens in January.
