Chelsea need not crucify whoever sold Mohamed Salah and Romelu Lukaku – Redknapp

Top football pundit Jamie Redknapp says that Premier League Champions Chelsea do not need to regret their decision to sell the likes of Egyptian Mohamed Salah and Belgian Romelu Lukaku.

As per his article on his Daily Mail column, Jamie Redknapp questions whether or not Chelsea boss Antonio Conte would trade the partnership of Belgian Eden Hazard and Spaniard Alvaro Morata in exchange for Liverpool winger Salah and Manchester United striker Lukaku.

Chelsea’s former transfer transaction was once again the talk of the town at the weekend as the duo both found the net, while another Ex Blue, Belgian Kevin De Bruyne, also scored against Leicester City.

Belgium international attacking midfielder Kevin De Bruyne is arguably the standout player throughout the English Premier League so far this current campaign.

The Ex Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspurs midfielder admit that the Belgium playmaker may have been the transfer that the Stamford bridge club got wrong.

Playmaker Kevin De Bruyne left Stamford Bridge for German Bundesliga side Wolfsburg after failing to impress Portuguese tactician Jose Mourinho, who was unhappy with the midfielder’s attitude.

Romelu Lukaku himself was heavily linked with a move back to the West London club throughout the summer transfer window but decided to join Jose Mourinho at Premier League rival club Manchester United, while the English Premier League champions signed Spain international striker Alvaro Morata from Spanish La Liga giant Real Madrid.
