Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has made it known that Danny Rose is likely to feature for his side in the Champions League on Tuesday against Borussia Dortmund.

Rose was dropped from the matchday squad that travelled to the Emirates on Saturday, sparking rumours that he is not in the good books of his Argentine manager.

The England international has consistently been linked with a transfer to Old Trafford, but Mauricio has waved aside any suggestion of a rift between him and Rose.

There were some other speculations that the Englishman was angry for not making the matchday squad on Saturday in the premier league, while Pochettino claimed he wasn’t part of the party due to fitness reasons.

The tactician is now leading his men to Germany for their next Champions League game against Dortmund at the Signal-Iduna Park, and he revealed Danny could participate in the Tuesday game.

Speaking at the pre-match press conference on Monday, Mauricio said the Englishman will train with the rest of his men and will be in contention for the Champions League game.

‘Rose is doing well’ he said.

Tottenham beat defending champions Real Madrid 3-1 at the Wembley Stadium a few weeks back, and the three points secured their progress into the knockout stages of the tournament.
