Chelsea legend William Gallas has revealed his shock at Chelsea current manager Antonio Conte for his behaviour during the 3-1 win against bitter rivals Arsenal last weekend.
The Stamford Bridge club extended their lead at the top of the Premier League table thanks to goals from the trio of Marcos Alonso, Eden Hazard and Cesc Fabregas.
Gallas who played for both Chelsea and Arsenal was astonished by Antonio Conte’s style of management.
“I was just behind him [at Stamford Bridge] and for 90 minutes the manager was talking to his players – I was shocked,” he told talkSPORT.
“Some managers stand up to give some information to their players and go back to their bench. But all the time he stands up!
“After the game I had the opportunity to speak to Antonio Conte and I asked if the manager was always like this and he said ‘Yes!'”
The Frenchman also revealed what he thinks the former Juventus boss has brought to Stamford Bridge this campaign.
“What he [Conte] has brought to Chelsea is a desire to win. And if you don’t have the desire to win every game you can’t win the title,” Gallas added.
Chelsea are currently nine points clear of second placed Tottenham at the top of the Premier League table and they will be travelling to Burnley on Sunday as they move ever nearer to the possibility of winning the EPL title in May.
