Arsenal open to selling Giroud

As per Daily Mail, Arsenal has always been open to selling the striker to their City rivals as they edge ever closer to signing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

The same publication says that Blues officials held talks about the possibility of bringing Giroud to Stamford Bridge from the Emirates stadium this window as they struggle to land a new striker.

Chelsea willing to sign

The article also suggests that the defending League champions could be convinced to pay the high transfer fee because he would be available to play in the UEFA Champions League and is settled already in London.

The Blues have been linked heavily with a number of players in the winter transfer window as manager Antonio Conte looks to bring in more firepower to his team at the Bridge.

Meanwhile, Chelsea are currently getting prepared for their League encounter against AFC Bournemouth at home on Wednesday.

Antonio Conte’s men head into the match fresh from qualifying for the fifth round of the Emirates FA Cup with a 3-0 victory over Premier League side Newcastle on Sunday.
