According to The Telegraph, the English champions have informed the Italian champions they will pay £60million to land the full-back and have indicated to Sandro that he must apply the pressure to force the deal.

There were reports that the Samba star has been offered an improved contract with an attractive wage by Juventus, so as to enable him keep his mind at Turin.

But, Chelsea have assured him they will give him something much better than what Juve can offer.

If Chelsea should get Sandro for £60M, the player would become the club’s record signing after surpassing the £50m paid to Liverpool to get Fernando Torres in 2011.

Sandro helped the Turin-based club win the Serie A title last season and is an important member of the squad.
