Former Arsenal player on his way to Spain

Former Arsenal striker Lucas Perez is reported to be keen to leave his current club West Ham United for Spanish La Liga outfit Real Betis in this winter transfer window.

Lucas Perez only left the North London side in August last year with a fee of about £4 million on a three-year deal but there are indications he might not stay any longer at the London club with the Call from the Spanish La Liga

The former Gunners failed to make an impact in the Manuel Pellegrini’s team which relegated him to the bench which is the major reason why he is seeking a move away from the club.

So far, Lucas Perez has had four goals to his name with the 13 games under his belt, a feat that is not convincing enough to keep him at West Ham as reports claim that he would be shown the way out should the right offer comes in for him.

However, Real Betis are seeking to land him on a loan deal with the hope of having him on a permanent deal at the end of the season.

Meanwhile, the Gunners are yet to make any signings in this winter window as at press time.
