German side Borussia Dortmund are considering selling Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in the winter transfer window after growing increasingly frustrated by his disciplinary issues, as per reports.
The 28-years-old Gabon striker has scored 11 goals in 12 German Bundesliga matches for Borussia Dortmund this League season.
The Daily Mirror reports the Blues are amongst a number of suitors who have been sounded out by the German side about the African’s potential sale in the new year.
According to report, Borussia Dortmund are angry with the Gabon striker’s poor timekeeping, with the striker alleged to have resumed 20 minutes late for last preparations before a match against rivals Stuttgart earlier in the month.
The Bundesliga side dropped the 28-year-old for the Stuttgart trip, claiming disciplinary reasons.
The ‘goal machine’ was also suspended by the German side for a UEFA Champions League match against Portuguese side Sporting Lisbon back in November last year after he travelled to Milan without the side’s permission.
Reports say the forward embarked on a similar trip to Barcelona, Spain, earlier in the year with the side’s permission, but the Gabonese returned late.
The striker said earlier in the month he could not understand the reason behind his suspension for the Stuttgart match.
The Dortmund striker became just the second African player to win the German Bundesliga Golden Boot last campaign after ending his season tally with 31 goals.
