Chelsea can bounce back from their event-filled Carabao Cup defeat at the hands of Manchester City when they face London rivals Tottenham Hotspur in their second meeting in the Premier League this season.
The Carabao Cup defeat to the Citizens on Sunday was overshadowed by the conduct of Spanish goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga who refused to come off when Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri made the call for Willy Caballero to replace him in goal towards the end of extra time.
Manchester City defeated Chelsea 4-3 on penalties with Kepa in goal.
Regulation time and extra time between both teams had ended in a goalless draw thus prompting the need for the dreaded penalty shootout.
