Barcelona rejects offer of former Arsenal player

Spanish La Liga outfit Barcelona have rejected an offer to have Chile international Alexis Sanchez return back to the club for another spell.

Alexis Sanchez had a three-year spell at the Camp Nou before joining Man United when he left the North London outfit Arsenal in a swap deal during the 2018 January winter transfer window.

Life has therefore been tough as a footballer for Alexis Sanchez at the Old Trafford as he is struggling to impress despite the change of his manager who now has more attacking tactics.

Reports have it that the Red Devils are struggling to have him leave as a result of his huge weekly wages and they could have him re-join Barcelona in the coming summer window but that has been rejected by the club as they claim not to be interested in working with the 30-year-old.

It is a known fact that Barcelona are keen to land the star player in the attack but that will not go with an option for Alexis Sanchez as it is unsure if he can still play at a top level owing to his age.

However, it is unclear what the next step will be for United ahead of the coming summer window for Alexis Sanchez.
