Deal Close as Arsenal target left out of side’s latest squad amid transfer talk

North London giants Arsenal may have been given a big transfer boost as Gabon international Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is out of Dortmund’s latest squad, as cited by a top Bundesliga journalist on Social media site Twitter.

The journalist – Daniel Berg posted a video of Borussia Dortmund players going to Berlin in preparation to play Hertha Berlin in the Bundesliga tomorrow, and the Arsenal target was not among the squad.

Meanwhile, reports suggest the African is desperately keen on moving to North London after agreeing to personal terms with Arsenal this week.

The striker could be a decent or even brilliant signing for the Gunners to help reduce the blow of losing Chilean international forward Alexis Sanchez to Premier League Manchester United, as Di Marzio has also claimed will go through.

The Gunners would require another world-class attacker at the club if that were to materialize, and the African seems to perfectly fit the bill.

The 28-year-old forward has been a prolific goalscorer in his spell in Germany, winning the German Bundesliga top goal scorer prize last campaign with an impressive goal record of 31 in 32 matches.

Arsenal faithful will hope some good progress can be made on the African as they will be tired of seeing their side lose top footballers and often not getting the right replacement.
