Coach Maurizio Sarri has disclosed he is tempted to use Belgian international, Eden Hazard as the Blues centre-forward.

Eden Hazard, 27, has been at top form this season scoring 7 goals in 8 Premier League matches, he also won the EPL best player for the month of September.

However, the talented star has been linked with moves to Spain but he has reassured Chelsea he will not leave in January, although coach Sarri has insisted that the star will remain at Stamford Bridge even after his contract lapse in 2020.

Eden Hazard has scored more goals than Pedro, Willian, Alvaro Morata and Olivier Giroud combine, which may have made Sarri start pondering on whether to change the Belgium star’s role and make him a centre-forward.

Sarri disclosed in a statement that he was ‘tempted to use Hazard as a centre-forward and I might consider it again in future.’

He, however, hinted that he believes it is not yet time to make such decision as the Blues still ‘need to believe in Olivier Giroud and Alvaro Morata.’

So far this season, the Blues centre-forwards, Alvaro Morata and Olivier Giroud have not played their expected roles effectively leaving Eden Hazard with the role of scoring goals for Chelsea.
