Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City have entered the race for Emre Can’s signature, according to a new report.
The Liverpool midfielder is out of contract at Anfield next summer, and he is yet to put pen on paper for a new deal to extend his stay at the club.
The Germany international has been repeatedly linked with a move to Turin to join Serie A champions Juventus, and he is free to begin talks with other clubs this month.
But it was made known recently that Pep Guardiola is also interested in the 24-year-old and is ready to bring him to the Etihad Stadium at the end of this season.
According to the Daily Mirror, the sky blue club have expressed an interest in the midfielder.
Recently, Juventus insist they are ready to do all it takes to lure Can to Turin at the end of this season. However, the player himself said he is yet to make a decision on where his next destination will be, and that his agent will be the one to take care of everything.
There are some claims that his favoured destination is his country home Bayern Munich.
Liverpool sold Phillipe Coutinho to Barcelona few weeks ago, and Klopp is expected to do all it takes to keep Can at Anfield.
