Arsenal told to sell Alexis Sanchez and move on

Arsenal legend Tony Adams thinks North London giant Arsenal should sell Chilean Alexis Sanchez if the forward doesn’t want to remain at the club.

Tony Adams says that the old style of keeping players who wish to stay and sell everyone else remains the best system, explaining via FourFourTwo. And it seems Arsenal faithful are starting to agree to the same option.

At the beginning of the summer window, most fans were against the idea of getting rid of Alexis Sanchez and move on. However, with time, it became clearer that there would be no fresh contract and that the Chile international forward did actually want to depart North London. Things began to change.

By the end of the summer transfer window, when French star Thomas Lemar almost ended up moving to Arsenal on transfer deadline day, many fans would have agreed with Tony Adams that it was the best option, signing someone who actually wanted to come to the Emirates Stadium.

Lemar’s transfer failed to materialize, and Gunners fans had to deal with several less than encouraging displays on the field since then from Alexis Sanchez. At this point, most fans are fed up and just want the transfer situation resolved so their favourite club can move on with their season.
