Arsenal to rival Chelsea for signature of £15 million rated Bundesliga star

According to a latest report from the Mirror, North London giant Arsenal will rival Premier League Champions Chelsea for a deal to secure the signature of promising Bayer Leverkusen star Leon Bailey.

The West London club have been strongly linked with the Bundesliga youngster following worries over the immediate Chelsea future of both Brazilian attacker Willian and Belgian forward Michy Batshuayi.

Arsene Wenger’s team have shown interest in signing the starlet after becoming very worried over the futures of Superstar duo, Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil and have penciled down the youngster at the apex of their priority.

The versatile midfielder only joined the club in the winter transfer window of 2016 from Belgian side Genk for about £12 million and has been a success since signing for the club which has put the two teams on red alert.

After a rather slow start to life in the Bundesliga, Bailey has helped Bayern Leverkusen push for a place in the top-four in the German league and his displays are well noticed by many.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger believes that he can secure the services of the midfielder for as small as £15 million, while Chelsea Italian tactician Antonio Conte sees the youngster as a long-term replacement for Willian at the club.
