According to a report by Calcio Mercato Chelsea have been cited a perfectly reasonable fee of €50million for the January transfer of Juventus star Alex Sandro.
The Italian publication suggests that the summer fee of €70million that Chelsea refused to pay for his signature has decreased, to a more reasonable fee.
Reports state that Antonio Conte’s side offered more than €50million in the summer transfer window, so assuming they are still ready to spend that amount now, a move could be done.
Alex Sandro’s poor shape since the start of the season has helped reduced his market value, and the fact that he only has 6 months left on his contract.
It would make no financial sense for the Blues to table a bid of such magnitude in January, but if the player is really available at such reduced fee they may find it tempting.
Reports this morning has it that Manchester United are ready to join the race to bring in £60million Juventus star Alex Sandro.
The Mirror claim, United are willing to make a £60m offer for the fullback in the New Year.
He has not been a consistent figure in the Juventus side this term but played the entire 90 minutes in their 3-0 victory at Bologna yesterday.
