Arsenal now prefer Ligue 1 pacy forward to Ousmane Dembele

Arsenal seems to have shifted their attention to Ligue 1 and Rennes pacy forward Ismaila Sarr as a target for the summer window which comes up at the end of the season.

It would be recalled that the Gunners management hinted that the club will not be doing transfer business in the January transfer window, stressing that they do not see any need for it unless there arises an emergency.

The North London club are reported to be a big fan of the Senegal international for a long while and are bent on having him this time around in the summer window.

There is no doubt that Ismaila Sarr is one of the biggest talents in the French League and he is already interesting big clubs like Inter Milan and other English Premier League clubs.

However, Ismaila Sarr has got a release clause of about £17 million before he can be asked to leave. The said amount is also believed to be on a good side for the North London club who are hoping to strengthen their squad.

The Gunners have had their strikers struggle this season with former Lyon striker, Alexandre Lacazette and former Borussia Dortmund forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang all shy of goals in recent months.
