Arsenal in talks to complete long-term deal after versatile ace impresses

Arsenal man Ainsley Maitland-Niles has allegedly done just enough to impress Arsene Wenger and the club’s board to earn himself a fresh long-term deal.

One for the future
The 20-year-old versatile ace has now played 27 matches across all competitions for the main team since playing his first match in the 2014/15 season, showing to all that he can be a vital member of the team with his versatility earlier this term.

In turn, that’s been enough to convince the club to offer him a new deal, with ESPN stating that negotiations are currently underway, with hopes that a deal will be agreed between both camps.

Major Boost
If that happens, it will be a big boost for the player who has been at the side since 2003, as he’ll be keen on earning for himself a long-term contract with the club and continue to attempt to seal his place in the team and starting line-up.

Also, it’s always better for a player to have his natural role and get in the side where he’s comfortable operating from. However, such is the level of competition at the club, the youngster has had to play and display he can play well almost anywhere, and that’s a good credit to him.
