Chelsea Superstar Eden Hazard is allegedly pushing for La Liga champions Real Madrid to speed up his move to the Santago Bernabeu this summer transfer window, as per Spanish publication Don Balon.
Hazard wants Bernabeu move
The report suggests the Belgium international forward is set to go to the Bernabeu with his ‘eyes shut’ and is not disturbed about Zinedine Zidane’s role as boss at the club.
The tactician looks under severe pressure after a tough season, with Los Blancos well out of the La Liga title race already and facing a huge tie against French Ligue 1 side Paris Saint-Germain in the UEFA Champions League.
City wanted Hazard
Recently, Eden Hazard has also been linked as a £150million target for Manchester City by the publication, but it seems he is keen to ensure he gets his transfer to Madrid.
The 27-year-old attacking midfielder could be decent for Real Madrid’s current needs up front, with Portuguese tactician Cristiano Ronaldo and Frenchman Karim Benzema not at their best this term while Welshman Gareth Bale has had his issues with injuries.
This would be a major blow for the Blues, and a sign of how they’ve declined this term as the Belgian supposedly fancies his opportunities of greater success in the La Liga, as reported by Don Balon.
