Arsenal close to first summer transfer signing

English Premier League outfit Arsenal have been tipped to be close to capturing their first summer signing after claims that they are in advanced talks to sign Belgium international Yannick Carrasco from the Chinese Super League.

The former Atletico Madrid player seeks to return to Europe as he is no longer interested in a stay at the Chinese league.

The 25-year old has been tipped to replace England international Danny Welbeck who is set to leave the club this summer transfer window.

Yannick Carrasco has been hailed to have enough quality to play for the North London outfit and there are suggestions that he could be captured for a cheaper fee than the 30 million euros that was requested in the last winter transfer window.

Arsenal are now in advanced talks with the Star Player, he could end up being the first summer transfer deal for Arsenal.

Manager Unai Emery is known to be a big fan of the winger especially playing against him in Spanish La Liga.

The two of them might work together at the Emirates Stadium if a deal is agreed before the end of the summer transfer window, but it is already known that the Spanish boss has got limited transfer funds.
