Top Brazilian ‘desperately’ wants to sign for Liverpool – report

According to media reports in Brazil, Merseyside giants Liverpool hopes of landing Alisson from AS Roma in the summer have been massively boosted by reports that Anfield Stadium is his favoured destination.

Liverpool keen on Brazilian

Brazilian publication UOL Esporte, as cited by the Daily Mirror, is claiming that the safe hand wants a transfer to Liverpool this summer.

The Reds are thought to be in the market for a new shot-stopper this summer window as manager Jurgen Klopp looks to reinforce his defence.

Neither Simon Mignolet nor Loris Karius have been convincing in goal this term and that has led to rumour that Liverpool could move to sign in a new goalie this summer transfer window.

Goalkeeper favour Liverpool switch

As per the same story, Alisson prefers a switch to Anfield Stadium and it is his priority, even though Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid also look to be interested in signing the 25-year-old.

The shot-stopper has kept 14 clean sheets from 32 matches so far this campaign.

The Reds are bound to be connected with a number of players in the next couple of weeks and months as the summer window draws nearer.

The Merseyside giants will also be keen to strengthen their attacking line after they sold Brazil international midfielder Philippe Coutinho in January.
