According to reports, Premier League champions Chelsea will aim to complete the signing of Robert Lewandowski if the forward can convince Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich to offload him in the summer transfer window.
Striker pondering future
As per a report from Sky Sports, the Poland international striker is considering his Bundesliga future and could be on searching for a transfer away when the current league season end.
The striker remains a vital player for Bayern Munich. Lewandowski has established himself as the team’s front man since his move from Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund and is widely seen as one of World football’s most complete strikers.
The Premier League champions have heavily struggled to score goals regularly this term and have encountered problems with their striking line. Spain international striker Alvaro Morata has dropped off after his early season form, which led the Blues to bring in France international Olivier Giroud from City rivals Arsenal last month.
Prolific striker
The Bayern striker is held in high regard in world football, though, and is seen as a world-class striker.
There will surely be a colossal transfer battle for the striker’s signature if he does indeed decide to force a transfer away from the German side.
Premier League giants Manchester United are also thought to be interested in the powerful striker.
