Romelu Lukaku Having Medical In America Ahead Of Manchester United Transfer

Chelsea long-term target Romelu Lukaku is now closing in on his move to Old Trafford.

In a new development, according to reports, the Belgium international is having a medical in Los Angeles ahead of his £75million switch.

Lukaku is edging closer to joining Man Utd in a shock move after being heavily linked with a return to Stamford Bridge for much of the summer.

And the Guardian are reporting that the Red Devils hope they can conclude a deal for the forward by Sunday when they arrive in the city to start off the pre-season tour of the United States.

The Belgian had been on holiday in Los Angeles as seen from snaps on social media alongside Man United midfielder Paul Pogba.

The Belgian was sold by Jose Mourinho back then at Chelsea to Everton in 2014. He has evolved into one of the best strikers in the premier league and was able to score 26 goals in all competitions last term at the Goodison Park.

He is set to reunite with the Portuguese tactician at Old Trafford after emerging as an ideal replacement for Zlatan Ibrahimovic who has departed the club after his one-year contract expired at the end of last season.
