The transfer window is closing soon, and Liverpool needs to utilize it to strengthen their squad. Well, if reports in the media are anything to go by, then a new name is on Liverpool’s radar in the person of Ivorian international and SCO Angers winger Nicolas Pepe.

According to L’Equipe, the 21-year-old attacker should leave his Ligue 1 club, and clubs like Liverpool, Everton and Newcastle are looking for secure his signature.Pepe is mainly a right winger, but he can also play as a center forward if needed. This season so far in 18 league appearances for the French club, he has scored 2 times and provided 1 assist.

It was also added that Olymique Marseille are seriously interested in signing Nicolas – who is rated around 10 million euros. He has only made one senior appearance for Ivory Coast so far.

Though he also went to the African Cup of Nations with the national side, he was an unused substitute in all of their group games. Liverpool however need quality players to improve the first team and squad depth and we wonder if Pepe is good enough to improve Liverpool.
