There have been lots of speculations that Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is keen on bringing Chelsea’s Willian over to Old Trafford at the end of this season.
And while the Brazilian superstar has previously reacted to the news by stressing out how happy he is at Stamford Bridge, Mourinho has recently dropped some hints that he won’t give up on the player.
The former Chelsea manager has hailed the South American player as a player of ‘outstanding quality’ despite his struggles in convincing Antonio Conte that he deserves to become a first-team regular.
Willian has been impressive at Stamford Bridge this season but his relationship with manager Antonio Conte is not quite pleasant.
Speaking recently about how rich is the Brazilian team travelling to Russia for the World Cup, Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho categorised Willian, Gabriel, Neymar and Countiho as players with ‘outstanding qualities’.
In April, the Portuguese tactician made known his interest in signing a Brazilian player in the nearest future.
Last weekend, it was speculated that his side are thinking about a swap deal with Chelsea – to send Anthony Martial to Stamford Bridge, and to bring Willian down to Old Trafford.
What do you really think about the idea of this swap deal?
